The D-U-N-S number is a unique nine-digit identification sequence, which provides unique identifiers of individual business entities. It is used by the world’s most important standard-setting organisations, recognised, recommended and/or required by more than 50 global, industry and trade associations, including the United Nations, the US Federal Government, the Australian Government and the European Commission. In today’s global economy, the D-U-N-S number has become the standard for tracking the world’s businesses. The DUNS number is an international number which is the exclusive intellectual property of the D&B organization and in Greece it is assigned by D&B’s authorized partner ICAP GROUP, a company providing business information and consulting services.

ISO 45001:2018 specifies the requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system and provides guidance for its use to enable organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injuries and ill health, and proactively improving OH&S performance.
ISO 45001:2018 applies to any organization that wishes to establish, implement and maintain an OH&S management system to improve occupational health and safety, eliminate hazards and minimize OH&S risks (including system deficiencies), take advantage of OH&S opportunities and address OH&S management of system nonconformities related to its activities.
